Dino Gabriel DiStefano has been working as a recording engineer and producer for the past 30 years, including Grammy winning and nominated albums for the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild, and other awarded albums for various record labels. He started working in film and video production in 1999 while living in Seattle. Since then he has worked on feature films, commercials, and many documentaries. Credited also as a sound designer, still photographer, videographer, music arranger and musician.
His documentary photography from Vietnam has been exhibited and also used in the WQED production “In Country: A Vietnam story”. He also has a gallery exhibit for the traveling multimedia show “In Sisterhood: The Women’s Movement in Pittsburgh” and “Hard Hatted Women”. He directed and produced the music show tv pilot “Live from Nied’s Hotel” that aired on WQED Pittsburgh and was nominated for a Mid Atlantic Emmy along with working at the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild as video director for streaming and archival recordings of such artists as Lisa Fischer, David Benoit, Savion Glover, Arturo Sandoval, Gloria Reuben, Larry Carlton and The Yellow Jackets. He is currently working on album projects and doing sound design and audio post mixing for The National Parks Service and The Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
